Like him or hate him, Bill makes a lot of sense. WCW was a madhouse and he did a lot to bring it out of debt. I like how he refers to the wrestlers as “athletes”, and not “performers”, and “entertainers”. I can’t understand what he wouldn’t like about Scott, though. He was the ideal wrestler, with a very good amateur background, collegiate level, and phenomenal in the ring. It’s too bad.

WCW was a great product in 1992/1993. Banning moves off the top was a mistake (which only lasted half a year or so) but you could tell the guys were busting their asses and it made for some great wrestling.

WCW was disorganized and let major talent go. Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Mark Callous/Undertaker , Malenko, Benoit, Eddie Guerrero ... then they brought in Hogan and did dungeon of doom crap. I know Nwo was great, but after 3 months that got really stale also.
