The Steiner Brothers are arguably the greatest tag team of all time. They are among the absolute most innovative, strongest, most athletic, fastest toughest wrestlers ever, they had impressive bodies and were incredibly amazing in the ring in general and had very intense, funny and entertaining promos, they're two of the best ever. And after their time as a tag team Scott Steiner became the wrestler with probably the most entertaining promos and the best physique in history.

I remember the first time I saw Scott Rechsteiner was on local wrestling out of Toledo, where he trained with the local legend Dr. Jerry Graham. He was built then like he is now. Me and my brother in law saw him and looked at each other, and one of us said, "He won't be here for long. He's in too good of shape." Well into the match, he did the huricarana, and we just turned to each other and said "What the fuck was that?!" He won the title belt then, but wasn't around much longer, on to bigger and better promotions.

Rick was so damn popular he couldn't stay a heel. Same way that Stone Cold did later. Neither of them changed who they were. The Fans changed.

Like everything that comes from Jim's yapper, this is 100% accurate. I have to admit I was nervous at first though. Being a Steiners mark, I'm very aware of the opinions that the older guys have of them. Jim is right though. They were strong and stiff but never dangerous. O they hurt people...on purpose...but if you didn't piss them off you weren't going to possibly die taking a powerslam like you could have with other wrestlers who sucked so bad that they hurt people with their botches.

Rick was great with the Varsity Club . He should have tried being a singles wrestler but pretty much stuck to Tagging with his brother . I think he had a short run as TV champion but as dingbat Steiner not badass Steiner .
