Disclaimer: I don't support the use of cheating in any way, this is a video to provide insight in order to protect yourself from content creation that may use cheating as an easy way to push out content. I also wanted to make this to show players that they need to be careful and mindful of the possibility that builds made in offline mode may be close to impossible to replicate.

Due to the obvious disdain for cheating I will not be providing any resource on how to manipulate your game files or any way to access cheating. If you really want to cheat for any reason, you'll have to figure it out yourself. Keep in mind that cheating will always ruin an rpg's experience and sense of progression, it will in short, ruin the vibe.

I don't care if you cheat. I just don't want to be responsible for it. The point of this video was to warn players about the possibility of malintent by using cheating in order to fool people online. Do as you please in offline, I don't care, why should I? The sole purpose of this video was to warn people about the idea of using cheating to hurt others. If youre just cheating to play how you want and youre not using it to effect the thoughts of other players then who cares. I feel like a lot of people commenting on this aren't getting the point. I am saying don't do it in order to pull responsibility for in the niche case you do get banned away from me whilst still being able to make a psa on the topic. Thanks for watching!

I created LastEpoch Mods, so that the developers could finally do security updates and so that I could finally play online.
They made offline mode, but that doesn't prevent cheating, with the latest version i can generate any item online, use godmode and any buffs i want ...
I haven't published any mods for online, that doesn't mean we can't do it.

If New World taught us anything there is always an ability to cheat online. Down to the point people packet loading, and piggy backing can't alter everything but some things can slip through.

Soo not a video about cheating? considering your talking about offline mode.... playing how they want isn't cheating... being dishonest if they use software to make a build that would be impossible and trying to passing it off as easy to make online suuure but cheating in offline mode isn't really cheating since your not actually competing with another player... I would say if they don't say they used software to create the build you could consider them as dishonest but that's about it. Cheating would be editing the character far beyond what is possible with normal gameplay but if its just a content creator making a 100% hey you can pull this off with hard work or they are just recreating a build they saw and using it to make their video then who cares spend 100s-1000s of hr's to make a video make it in a few? Also not sure if the TOS applies to offline mode I would have to look at that my self as even if it does it's not like they can do anything about that considering any game ever that allows save data to be on the end users pc is theirs to play with how ever they want :S

you can cheat in basically every offline game so this is not surprising at all. think of D2 Shadowmaster or stuff like that. But maybe after D3, D4, Poe exclusively live service games - maybe some ppl forgot about that

Honestly, who cares if you’re not cheating online it’s not a problem. We are treating off-line. No one’s being affected. You’re testing out different bill mechanics it’s going to happen because you’re off-line as long as it’s not online. Who cares stop complaining enjoy the game.

Honestly, when I couldn't get into the game for a full day, I used an api to get an offline character up to the level of my online character quickly. I wouldn't have played at all if I couldn't do that. I can see the issue with content creators showing offline builds...but offline do whatever you want. The devs basically said they don't care in the DM/Ghazzy video. As long as you're not representing one thing for another, doesn't sound like an issue to me.

You can edit everything in notepad when playing offline. Nothing new. zz

Please please can someone help me I have 93h offline I just played offline. I have lvl 100 offline char pally and I saved soo many items for druid but it turns out my char is SSF wtf so they don't share stash. HOW DO I DUPLICATE JUST ONE STASH TAB PLS PLS? or all the tash tabs? Or even share them make my first char that's max lvl not SSF ( not realistic prob)

I have appdata/Local/.../Saves I identified stash tab 26 I wanna transfer to my druid that's lvl 6 and has no items in the stash? I tried just to copy Iteminfo from one [] from the stash tab of one char to other I just NEED 1 tab. pls help tnx . how to do it step by step or that API?
