I've been working on this one almost since the song came out. It is off AJR's new album "OK Orchestra." I hope you enjoy it.

Jesus Christ... this is amazing. There were so many different layers you absolutely nailed. You even put in the reverse lyrics at 0:29 & 1:21, that bridge was absolutely brilliant, that split second it builds at 2:40, the freaking background lyric at 2:44, and the way you did the instrument change at the end.... just... holy shit, this is perfect. It’s like you literally took the “Way Less Sad, ” threw it on an autopsy table, and dissected it before translating it to Minecraft.


Edit; Ok, I’m literally just now picking this up (because I’m listening to it with headphones), but I also absolutely love the low-key filler blocks that are in the choruses at 0:15, 1:05, etc. I love that kinda hidden element, as well as the more obvious kind-of filler you have at 0:53, and so on.

Holy shit. I’ve seen a few good noteblock song channels, but this is outstanding. I didn’t even know it was possible to make trills, but they’re here even though nobody would have complained, or probably even noticed, if they weren’t. Absolutely amazing, and thanks to YouTube for recommending this to me.

It's almost illegal on how underrated this is. I havent found much noteblock channels that blow me away but this is definitely a winner. Way Less Sad is one of my favorite songs from the album and you've exceeded my expectations, awesome job!
