the game was seriously ahead of this its time. this could have came out last year along with Elden ring and God of war. It would just need some better boss fights and some story tweaks and it could have dropped winter 2022 and competed with the big dogs.

always gotta take a moment to admire what you’re protecting, and why you should continue to protect it

Rest in peace, Kevin Conroy and Adam West, the Batman's of our childhood.

I literally just go up here and leave the game running after I completed everything. The rain is so detailed and relaxing in a way. I just sit there with Batman and think about life.

Hits hard knowing what Rocksteady have done to him now

This is what I did before the Knightfall Protocol, reminiscing about the 2 games and how everything led up to this moment, and despite everything, Batman always wins, even when the cost is too high, only he can bear that much weight or burden.

Something I’ve always attributed to Batman is how he sacrificed so much, yet receives no reward for his actions, and I think this video captures that in a way.

Not many videos catch my attention like this one has. Truly One of the greats of YouTube.

This hits so hard, it has some weird beauty about it. The death of an era and the start of something greater or worse... The asylum is closed, Arkham city failed and protocol 10 wasn't executed correctly, Ivy is dead, Joker is dead, Ra's is dead, Batman dropped the cape and vigilantes like Red Hood and Azrael took over. This isn't the end, Gotham will see more years of conflict on it's streets, same game, different players.

Poignant that I’d get this after watching that scene in the suicide squad game… RIP Kevin. Damn you Rocksteady.

You know a game’s good when a 20 second clip with no action inspires hundreds of comments praising it.

That’s what I did when I decided to actually 240% the game, I deleted my save, started fresh, finished everything, put on The Dark Knight Returns suit, yk to make it feel like it’s been a long long journey, looked over towards Arkham Asylum, then to Arkham City, then I activated the Knightfall protocol, then that was it, the game was over, I felt emptiness, I wanted more… that’s what I call a perfect series

Still can't believe this was released in 2015. Holds up to this day and looks better than most games

This is peaceful and what Arkham feels like when you just relax from all the crime fighting. Just peace and serenity.

TL;DR A tribute to Mr. Conroy in my weird little way

When The Batman came out, I started a new save. When Mr. Conroy passed, I went out on a mission to finally get the last 9 Riddler trophies for the true Knightfall Protocol.

I got the trophies quickly but I still to this day cannot go through with it. I know what happens, I know I must. But i just can’t. I didn’t activate the KFP and continued to NG+ instead.

Maybe I’ll do it afterwards but it tears me up inside thinking about saying goodbye to someone who was the closest thing I had to a father figure. Mr. Conroy raised me by voicing Batman without knowing it and know he did the same for others.

Thank you Mr. Conroy for filling my childhood with great memories and for being the embodiment and voice to The Dark Knight to me and others. May you Rest in Power and Peace. Gotham will forever be under your protection for all you’ve done.
