Lunkenheimer 2 1/2' 3 Chime Steam Whistle

This is a test of a Lunkenheimer 2 1/2 three chime steam whistle. I am using my 2 stage compressor with 140 PSI for this test. It has great sound, even though I am using a compressed air instead of steam.

You need more volume of air. It isnt blowing properly because you are using a standard air hose to it. That will never work properly regardless of how high the pressure is. Take the tank bung out and use reducers to plumb it directly to the tank. Those little hoses will never carry enough air to it aswell as the hose running through a regulator with a 1/2 inch outlet restricts it further. You will also need a tank of atleast 50L (13 gallons) for your size whistle.
