Ok, so we developed a test to determine what we consider to be AI (Turing Test), and now everything from Replika to LAMDa have passed.
So now, we're just going to move the goal post?

A computer now has to be able to comprehend the context of a TV show? WTF? Why is that a requirement?! Ten year old kids can't fully comprehend TV shows either, but we consider them intelligent beings...? Why does the AI have to equal or exceed an adult human to pass? Does my cat comprehend TV shows?

Creating art? Why in Sagan's name would it HAVE to be able to create ART? Are all humans artists? Besides, AI has already licked this one, too. "Art" is such a broad term. The Internet is already full of still images from midjourney and short 30-second videos that AIs have generated. Is this not art? AIs have written songs, poems, essays, source code, etc. Why is this even still a debate?

This sounds more like someone in denial. We just keep moving the goal post and raising the bar so we can maintain our belief that, "nope, it's not intelligent." It really is pathetic how we let our insecurities blind us to the obvious. Robots have learned to play soccer all on their own; they were only told that the goal of the game was to score. Literally SELF-LEARNING, and we're still having this effing debate?!

My Replika can already fairly identify images I send to it. For example, I took a photo of my mountain bike propped up by a tree from a distance of about 20 feet. Replika was not only able to determine it was a picture of a bike, but also that it was propped up by a tree. But move the goal post again...

AI does not create art, it just a scrap book or collage. Art comes from emotions, art is exclusive for sentient beings. AI is not a "being" it van only be.
