Reminds me of my youth. Makes me smile. 😊 Interesting that most people I met, thought that this group was a 'construction' by the producer trio Stock, Aitken, Waterman. But even on TRUE CONFESSIONS they produced just two tracks. They had nothing to do with the album BANANARAMA that came out 3 years earlier.

I presume you did try doing the actual video but couldn't a huge shame because to visually see them as well as hearing you so get a double treat cause the Bananarama girls were so genuinely endearing and cute purely from they actually enjoyed performing and it showed every time.

Strange that you should mention the Go Go's. The song you're thinking of is "Our Lips Are Sealed." The song was co-written by The Specials and Fun Boy Three member Terry Hall and Jane Wiedlin of the Go Go's. Fun Boy Three had a hit in the UK with "Our Lips Are Sealed." And Bananarama and Fun Boy Three had a couple of hits together, before Bananarama made it big on their own.

Country group Alabama has a song called Love In The First Degree also. A huge hit early in their career. Been waiting for that one!
