Love this song from Gale Garnett to think a young lady coming out of the 50's going into the early 60's and she's the one telling him this relationship is not going to last forever just enjoy the here and now, Love it. I would also like to apologize to Miss Garnett for misspelling her first name in the little video I did. hope you like, no copyright infringement is intended.

I miss those years. The music, simple life, no technology just enjoying being with friends.

Things were simpler then. We didn't cause today's problems. Social Media did.  The fifties brought Rock 'n Roll and the sixties brought experimentation. We were innocent and just tryin to see what our parents said was bad. Were we happy? You betcha. We had our music and there wasn't any perversion, just simple love. Something that is missing in this country today. TERRY- So did I and did it watching the fireworks over Lake Erie. Great

I was maybe 10 or 11 years old when I first heard this song. It’s sad, but I love the harmonies!

This song just came up in my thought and I just had to hear it. Oh, how beautiful to sing in the sunshine and at least ‘try’ to laugh every day!!!

Nostalgic for a time i didnt live through, but so wish i had. Music can be such a reflection of the time, and the closest thing to a time machine we have. Just brilliant.

I just missed the draft for Vietnam lost some friends that didn't make it back, some came back messed up and can never overcome that, this is one song that helped them through this mess.I know I am retired and volunteer my  time at my local Va hospital. The few Gi's that come in, I play this song and it makes there day.I guess my guilt for missing the draft by a year  and watching the young kids come back  treated like criminals and spit on for serving there country when they had no idea where Vietnam was? It makes me proud that I can bring joy to them with the songs they went over there with and try to give them good memories
