All of us who grew up in the 60s are the luckiest people on the planet. To have grown up listening to gems like this one, is a true blessing.

The real blessing is that we grew up in the 60’s and we are still here enjoying the music!

Beautiful voices, no screaming, no garish costumes, no creepy makeup, just very nice normal people with beautiful voices and great stories to tell with the lyrics, Lord I miss those days.

The 1960's had some of the best music in the history of the music industry. It had depth, heart. The good Ole days when America WAS America.

I like how we can hear every word, no gimmicks no flashing lights, just pure singing.

I'm 71 years old. We didn't have a pot to pee in we were so poor. But those days were the best I ever lived.

1966. The year I married my true love, Sharon. I remember this song fondly as part of a magical year.

The children of today ( 2022 ) have no idea what they missed - drive-inns - running around outside until it was dark ( no danger ) and most of all amazing music - life was wonderful ( 1944 )

One of the most underappreciated and underrated artists from the 60s. Her voice and songwriting talents were simply superb.

Was born in 62, but I remember this song quite well. It was one of my mom’s favorite songs.

To the elderly lady who greeted me with a soft drink after cleaning her little yard. She used to have this song blaring out the window in her her living room. Thank you. Rest In Peace.

Some of the greatest songs and singers came out of the 1960's. Authentic and with deep meaning for life's lessons and for future generations to experience and enjoy years later.

My mother loved this song. She would clean the house with this song playing and singing along with the record. Boy do I miss her everyday. When I hear this song the tears start to flow.

I was a musician in the 60s and sometimes our circles touched. The most lasting impression of Gale Zoë Garnett was her stunning intelligence. She had an absolutely brilliant mind. After music she went on to act (stage, TV, film) and became an author of plays, books and articles covering a wide range of topics. It was a privilege to have met her. This is one of the fundamental songs on my playlist.
