I love how you gently called out that this beautiful young lady did not start with flat hair lol. It helps people like me, who do have thin fine (read: actually flat) hair, feel better about what the standard is. After losing a lot of hair from some medical issues, I got really down about my looks, and so many influencers called their thick bouncy hair “flat” that I thought, “if that’s flat, then wtf is mine?!”, and I just stopped trying to feel beautiful for a while. If all of these gorgeous younger women thought that they weren’t enough, then how could I be, right? It’s hard to get out of that negative thinking!

The positivity throughout this video was so refreshing and needed! Thank you!
