(223) Frozen flower / Reverse flower dip on a 30 centimeter round canvas / Acrylic pouring

Hello from Slovenia!
This was the first time doing reverse flower dip on bigger, 30 centimeter round canvas. I used blues this time, because you can't get bad result with blues. ;)
I also used sky blue light (opaque) mixed with Valejjo pearl medium and it worked ok too. Next time I will try to mix some transparent paint with pearl medium to see if this works too.

All my paints are mixed with Boesner acrylic binder and Dufa acrylic primer.

I think I agree it’s you. Always before your darker outer ring has almost appeared as a shadow, and this is much wider. It is still beautiful, I too love that center and the lacing you get from the metallic... I can’t wait to see what you do with it.. Maybe brush some white over the dark edge???

The flower is out of this world, beautiful. I agree with you about the Windsor blue. At first I thought you should paint over it with white.Your idea of painting the rest with the blue Is better. I love it Fiona😜

Good job Fiona! Oh, that center!! You are right. It is absolutely gorgeous!
You know I did one of your favorites on a 12x12 square canvas. YES! It is harder!! But, I never thought of unfolding a napkin to use on it. Haha haha! I used scotch tape to tape my paper towels together to make it bigger and as soon as the paper towel got wet the tape came off. Silly me!! I will try a napkin next time. Brilliant!
Can't wait to see what it looks like if you paint the edges. It is very pretty, but that center absolutely takes the prize! Hugs!

yey i thought the same thing just do the blue around it maybe too a black base or white so the edges are covered too love it though especially the windsor blue

I like your idea of filling in the rest of the edge with the Winsor Blue. I think that will work really well.
I think that the larger canvases will have an even bigger impact. I know that I was really pleased with the ones that I did on 30cm x 30cm canvases.

The wide dark blue edge is pretty but not quite right. I wonder if a thick outer circle of green would look like the illusion of leaves. It's still gorgeous, as always!

oh you did have a base color lol maybe the circle has to be closer to the edge idk but its still beautiful

for me its beautiful :) Maybe you dont like it because the dark Blue is a too hard edge in your eyes :)
