This is an excellent documentary on Quantum Mechanics by NOVA. It's truly amazing and mind boggling how the molecular level or the "Quantum Realm" works, yet there are still questions that haven't been answered. This is one of my favorite documentaries and I hope you enjoy it too.

My hypothesis that Dark Matter is not a WIMP, but maybe is a deformation of space-time by which the curvature of space-time ALONE is the cause of the gravitational effect. Gravity is the consequence of the curvature of space-time. It may be possible that the structure of space-time itself could be warped without the presence of mass. Space-time has been shown to react like a fabric by warping, twisting, and propagating independent of mass. These properties have been proven with observations of gravitational lensing, frame dragging, and now gravitational waves. Fabrics can be stretched, pressured, and/or heated to the point of deformation. Such extreme conditions were all present during inflation, so it is plausible that space-time’s elastic nature could have hit its yield point and permanently deformed. Therefore, if gravity is the consequence of the warping of space-time, and fabrics can be permanently deformed, then a deformation could create a gravitational effect independent of mass. DM could be a microscopic black hole with no mass at the center...
Prediction: Spacetime's elastic property hits a yield point, so only that part of geodesic's "stretch marks" would remain after inflation stopped. These steep gravitational wells would not follow the inverse square law.

To me (as a layperson) it sounds intuitive that those rules don't seem apply to big objects. Even if a single electron has around 7% chance of being at the side of the bowling screen, for a full atom to be there the chance would exponentially decrease with the number of particles since all it's particles would need to be at that place at the same time for the whole to be there.

I'm giving here the idea of liberty. Imagine that your mind is a computer and you want to develop a algorithm of search and learning without writing a code line. A summarized example of these algorithms is the one which, using mathematical formulas, is on Google's software. This part of the website program is responsible for the opportunity of tipping a word, for example "news", and, in next moment, the interface is full of the latest most relevant news related to your personal preferences.
Let's do this in a very simple way, and without much variables, because if we don't do like this, maybe this could get complicated. Choose, randomly, 10 websites, news' virtual bases and search engines to open in your web browsers. Let's see: Uol, Terra, Aol, CNN, Baidu, Spiegel, Pravda, Figaro, Wikipedia and Google (you're free to choose other ones). After opening these pages, give a quick look into them, and that's it, your algorithm was created in your mind.
This "engine" inside of you will work better as many times you use it, and using it, here, is meaning repeating the process.
