I live in the country in central Illinois and the water is absolutely terrible. I currently rent a water softener and a tannin filter/softener for around $80 per month and then use about 4-5 bags of salt a month. House is 1800 sq. ft. and have 3-4 people in the house. What would you recommend for a system? Want to buy a system instead of renting. Thanks
