Some people don't know about bulls beyond the "take the bull by the horns" quote. If you have ever been chased by one or have lived in an area where bullfighting is legal, you sure don't fall into that category. Bulls are male cattle- that everyone knows- how about we tell you something new? From the Marchigiana Bull to the Braham, here's an interesting list of the

20 biggest bulls in the world.

I grew up on a farm/ranch and we were given a Holstein Bull calf by our friends who owned a dairy. The calf was born with rickets, which is a bone disorder and the dairyman thought that as the calf grew he would not be able to walk and he didn't want to spend the money and time to fix one calf. We brought it home and my sister and I took care of it, we named him Calfcalf btw, sounds stupid but we were kids! Well, Calfcalf started growing and the splints my dad made for him worked really good because soon he was running around playing with us! We loved Calfcalf! When he was fully grown his legs were as straight as arrows and because he was raised by two little girls he was as gentle as a kitten! We rode him like our horses and treated him with tons of love, and in the end he was 1200 or so lbs and the day came when we came home from school and Calfcalf went from the field to the freezer. We cried our heads off, but Calfcalf tasted wonderful!

Bulls are just so amazing, weight and all.
When I was like 5 our Bull Henry a Black Angus went like 1500 lbs, they told me, and said stay away from Henry.
Yeah tell a kid to stay away
so there is Henry in the pasteur, he did not like adults and no one know if her would take to kids.
But hey that did not stop my.
I ran to him shouting his name Henry
Hentry looked at me, like WTH is this he turned around my grandpop, uncle and pop like were Oh crap he is going to kill me.
Henry stood his ground as I ran up to him yelling his name and then without thinking Henry put his head down like I will toss this thing up in the air.
I just grabbed his head and kissed him and I love you Henry.
dead silence from Henry and the adult men and women folk.
I just held on and hugged him as much as i could get with my lil arms.
slowly he moved his head up, looked me in the eyes and I said again I love you Henry and kissed his snout agin.
From then on Henry was my BFF and walked with me like a big dog.
Henry would still go after my pop, uncle and grandpop and the women but me, he could not wait till he saw me run to me and his his hugs and kisses and hear the words I love you Henry.
Smiling and crying. He is at the bridge, died like the cows on their own, never killed, buried on the farm by their favorite trees.
Be nice, be careful and let them know they are respected and loved, be surprised.

Texas Longhorns are absolutely breathtaking when you see them in person. I’ll never forget the day I saw a man riding one with two following right behind. You really don’t want to stand too close as they can swiftly and effortlessly turn their heads and gore you!
Such an awesome creature.

Interesting program, however two things the announcer switched back and forth from metric to US measurements even using both in the same breed. ALSO, several breed names were mispronounced. Still interesting. I grew up raising cattle.

# Strange Topic....I am 100 % convinced that the bull being led into that trailer in your video was actually photo shopped and NOT a real animal at all.

Quick note for the narrator Devon and Summerset are not countries nor are any other areas within England, they are usually towns, counties, cities, etc. Not having a dig more so trying educate if it wasnt a mispoken sentence

If you don't know your cattle, this narrator isn't pronouncing any of the names or functions correctly. The facts are a bit questionable as well.

Hard to watch but interesting. I like the anonymity of the supermarket as my only connection to beef.

I'm in Central Queensland, Australia. The most common type of cattle here are Brahman types. They cope better with the subtropical climates, have a thick hide to protect them from the spear grass, are drought resistant and tick resistant. There's a big problem with ticks here.

They often get crossed to other breeds to create new breeds. The droughtmaster is popular and so is Brangus. This is a cross between Brahman and Angus.
