Bull Breaks Legs At Spanish Festival

This is the moment a huge bull is left dragging itself across the ground after breaking its legs during a festival in Spain.

The footage was recorded in the village of Mejorada del Campo, near the Spanish capital Madrid and has been shared by the Animalist Party Against the Mistreatment of Animals (PACMA).

At 0:04, you can see his back fold. And it snapped his spine. He lost complete control of all back end limbs... its heartbreaking to see.

As someone whose had two back surgeries I’m no stranger to pain and the body not working properly this looks horrific. To see such a powerful animal neutralized in seconds is profoundly eye opening. How fragile we all are.

This is very sad, but I believe it's trauma to the spine and not broken back legs. The back legs are never used, they wouldn't just snap. It appears to have injured it's lower spine after jumping and immediately became paraplegic.

I think the worst part is that bull is probably well beyond dead now. Usually with animals like bulls and horses, they put them down before the leg gets too bad

It’s so heartbreaking to witness such a strong animal go down in just a matter of seconds and the confusion of why it happened was absolutely horrible to see.

This has to be one of the most heartbreaking footage ever recorded. Seeing a creature as fierce and great as a bull reduced to being confused and helpless like that shows how vulnerable we all are. That bull will now live a painful existence and the moment it looked up unable to move was when it, too, realized.

That was hard to watch and cruel as hell. I’m not some tree hugger vegan or animal rights activist. But damn, these festivals need to come to an end. This creature didn’t deserve such a cruel end.

it fractured its spine not the legs. its back made a really sharp bend on impact and the lower body is completely motionless. poor thing. 700kg animals are not meant to jump off something. this culture is barbaric and animal cruelty. a shame that this is still a thing.
