I managed to get my camera apart following your video. CRITICAL NOTE @ 3:00 and @ 3:09, there are 4 hair thin wires soldered to the flat cable. I ripped mine off with the glue and had to play with the coils (but I had 50% chance of getting the + and - correct, and I failed). To put the camera together, the Sony service manual Ver. 1.1 2013.05 LEVEL 2 is priceless! Great video, took me about 5 hours for everything, but I ultimately failed because of those hair thin wires.

Yea got this error really gutted, won a broken hx300 off ebay recently for £9.99 I'm hoping to swap lens if any good or at least fix one so I have a spare in case I make it worse trying to fix it. UPDATE swapped lens with my broken praying that it was ok, works perfect but not sure for how long!

Bless you a million times! Your videos finally ID the part that I thought was at fault but could not identify. Does anyone know where I may I find suitable replacement Hall sensors?

Does this cable move when you zoom or it is static? I think it is moving because there is no other reason to break?? Pls answer if you know

Vi um video que pra tirar o modo erro de estabilização o famoso e 62 10 é simples sem precisar abrir ou perde tempo com manutenções com o cone de zoom pra fora vc retira a bateria aí é só da uns petelecos nos 4 lados to cone e pronto e 62 10 some sem gastar nada hehe desculpa ai o da eletronica quem me passo o macete foi os japoneses sempre esperto vamos economizar galera

At timecode 4:05 you tells to measure 26 ohm between 1-2 and 11-12 mounted ? should it also been 26 ohm between 1-2 and 11-12 on a new naked ribbon (unconnected) ?
