First HX-300 did this after about 18 months and I just thought wear and tear, I've used it a lot and replaced it with another because I loved the camera. The next one did exactly the same after a year but this time after much less use. The guarantee had only just expired. They are a very good camera, but after finding out more about this problem I will never buy anything made by sony again.

6 times now since Oct 2020 had the mode dial replaced out of pocket and on 1/1/21 I got the E62:10 Error I got the HX300V in 2013 and in 2014 the E62:10 error started, first time the camera was replaced with a refurbished one through Mack camera warranty so the warranty was then They let me get another Mack warranty on the replacement and over the warranty period it was in the shop several times, 3 times in a row due to it being sent back with a blurry one time in the zoomed range and another in the wide I love the camera but kind of expensive for what ends up being a I was gong to buy the HX400V but the same lens and
