LeVar would've been the ideal permanent host, but you don't have to take my word for it.

Levar did such a great job this week. Hope they have him again in the future. He'd be a good permanent host if he's up for it.

His voice and mannerisms are iconic. You don't get that with any of the guest hosts so far. He's an established public personality, like Trebek. It would be a mistake not to choose him.

The passing of Alex Trebek was a heavy loss, and Jeopardy is a Beloved Game Show. Finding a replacement host has been a nail-bitting wait in our living rooms as we wonder...about many things. LeVar Burton is an ABSOLUTE wonderful surprise in a Bittersweet circumstance. I believe Alex Trebek himself BLESSED this transition, and I certainly hope LeVar's presence becomes permanent. He is the perfect Successor.

“So they’re coming here!” damn his enthusiasm and voice is so warming and capturing. I would watch Jeopardy every episode just to see him. That’s how special this man is. Definitely on my Mount Rushmore along with Bob Ross and Fred Rogers.

I agree with LeVar! His energetic demeanor and intelligible speech make him the perfect choice to replace Alex. I always thought he was so smart growing up watching reading rainbow

Eh, a few hiccups, but presenting without a script is just a different beast compared to stage or screen acting (namely the lack of script lol). The energy was lovely, there was sincere excitement when a contestant got a question right. I can't imagine better energy for the next generation of jeopardy.

Came here after hearing a lot of naysayers talking about "how he gets too animated" and how his "flow is too slow".

After watching this, in pretty sure they just didn't want him to host. Nothing wrong with this at all.

He’s brought that Trebek-style authority, energy and curiosity more than any of the other hosts. He would be PERFECT to take over permanently! Screw Mike Richards

Loved seeing LeVar on this and I hope he gets a chance to host Jeopardy again. A true legacy of reading and knowledge. Captain Picard would certainly give a letter of recommendation to the chief of Sony!

Of all of the temporary house I like him the most and feel that the spirit or feel of the show is closest to Alex Trebek
