A low mileage example, it has just 23,554 original miles on the clock, while it's also reported to feature a numbers-matching engine and transmission.

I had a beetle, same year that looked just like that. Came home one day from work
because my husband wanted me to take the bus to work instead, so thinking he was going to give the VW a tune up, he sold it! Bastard! That was MY car! Now you know why he's my EX!! 😂

I've been a mechanic since 1973. I worked for VW and Audi Dealers for 33 years.I have serviced and repaired thousands of Beetles and other model Volkswagens. I have owned many beetles. I still have all the special German tools shop equipment and manuals to work on these cars. Still Today if you go into my gararge you know I'm the Volkswagen and Audi mechanic. The Only Enemy To These Cars is RUST. They Just Don't Hold Up To Winter Roads With Salt On Them.

In 1974, I had a black Super Beatle with red leather interior, manual transmission. $3, 000 off showroom floor! Loved that car! Bro wrecked it! I wanted to wring his neck! Should have! Only 2 problems during 4 yrs ..
