I think it's super neat how the rapping parts in each act of this stage are sonic(act 1) and eggman(act 2)

Sonic in Sonic CD: Ok, so basically, the plan is this: I must find a Past Sign and find a spot to time-travel, in order to destroy the robot generator and save Little Planet.
Sonic in Sonic Mania: I think destroying the generator of Stardust Speedway is enough

Metallic Madness, one of my favorite areas of this game, I think that along with Stardust Speedway, it is a map, brought from Sonic CD, and if they gave me to choose between this and Stardust Speedway, Let's see, Stardust Speedway is very good, but  Metallic Madness, I love it, in fact I like this act more than act 2, because of the music and the setting.

This song in particular always gives me the most nostalgia for Mania for some reason. I already don't really remember why.

This is the 2nd most WTF stage in the game. I never would have expected this and Oil Ocean to be in Mania. Not that I'm complaining mind you but I was totally caught of guard.

I like these voice samples. They remind me of an early sampling synth, with how they abruptly cut to the next part. I swear this could be done on a Fairlight.
