Mint Cinnamon is one of the distro’s I alway can count on for ham radio apps. It stays on Ubuntu lts which is great for the ham shack but may account for your old software. I am several years older and you are a youngster to me. Great videos.

I love Linux Lite but it has a disadvantage that prevents me from using it as my daily driver. You cannot upgrade from one series of Lite releases based on Ubuntu LTS to another. For example, when Ubuntu 22.04 lands, Linux Lite will have no upgrade path from 5.6 except to do a complete reinstall.

Oh on metal make sure your connected with the installer or things don't go right! It will corrupt the lite repo and you can't download the updates that are needed

Jack hey there is a person or people putting melware on Arch and it's distros based on arch Linux. This how! Pacman will never ask too install a keyring! Check no then pacman - S archlinux-keyring it will reinstall the real keyrings! If you don't you will have melware
