It looks like the water got down the neck and the hood. I don’t know what specific jacket that is, but I have the Torrentshell 3L and it is WATERPROOF, like, I could turn it inside out and use it as a hydration bladder. My guess is that this was some sort of user error?

I have a granite crest, water comes in through the seems at the end of the arms and the base of the jacket, these seems are not taped like the rest of the jacket. The rest is completely waterproof. It looks like water has come in through the zip or lower seems for you. The waterproof membrane seems to have done its job

It’s neat how H2NO isn’t a proprietary membrane like Gore-Tex or eVent.. it’s just a standard. So each Patagonia model with H2NO is made entirely to spec and different from others. It’s more versatile than the membrane based ones.. also more money goes to the design rather than a patent.

I love my Patagonia Rainshadow. It has 30D face shell nylon and is one of the more durable jackets I’ve had somehow. Just very well made and the visor and hood outperform most brands aside from OR or Arc’Teryx.

same thing happened to me: went out in the rain for 20 minutes, the entire inside of this stupid rain jacket was soaked, soaking my fleece underneath. H2No? H2 Blows!!
