At a quick glance: Focusing on sqrt(78- 2*(sqrt(77)). Rewriting (78-2*sqrt(77)) as (1-sqrt(77))(1-sqrt(77)) then sqrt (78-2*(sqrt(77)) = (1-sqrt(77)). the given equation becomes Sqrt( 17 - sqrt(77) - (1-sqrt(77))) = sqrt( 16) = 4. Thank you for your videos.

In the first substitution, wouldn’t (1-sqrt(77))^2 also work?
In which case the expression simplifies to 4.

Sqrt(78-2sqrt(77))
Sqrt(1-2sqrt(77)+77)
Sqrt(1-sqrt(77))^2
1-sqrt(77)
Donc
Sqrt(17-sqrt(77)-(1-sqrt(77))
Sqrt(17-1)
Sqrt(16)
Donc
4 pourrait aussi etre soltion mais en calculant par les valeur décimales on voit bien que la réponse donnée dans la video est la bonne.
Mais ou est la faille ?
Simple (1-sqrt(77)) < 0
Et une racine carrée n’a pas pour valeur acceptable, une valeur négative.
Il ne faut donc pas se faire avoir par cette soltuion qui semble si simple et intuitive

There are at least 3 more solutions if you considered ✓x^2 is +x or -x. Some of them are pretty interesting too.

It would help if this "teacher" learned the basics before confusing those he is trying to teach. A square root, of course, has two values, and so the correct answer here is four numbers, not one. "F"!
