man i remember the first week this game was out, me and my friends spent entire days at hotspots in our area, grinding our hearts out. we still do this during summer time. we head to the very same hotspots and we play from dawn til dusk, catching every pokemon in the area and taking over every gym (mystic btw, go team) we are basically the owners of the area.

I will never forget this game. Summer of 2016. I was at a resort with my cousins when I downloaded it. It felt so natural being outside but still playing games and having fun. No other game has ever gotten gamers to go outside like this game. I spent all summer playing this game and taking photos with Pokémon in them. I even got a Pokémon go plus and it felt so good just pressing a button to catch Pokémon and it was a great accessory cause my mom would always get mad at me for walking with my phone lmao. Unfortunately my dog chewed it up but it was fun while it lasted. I don’t think I have the confidence to openly wear this in public anymore lmao. I know that most people probably don’t care though especially that I’m now in college. I’ve obviously moved on but I will never forget. Maybe I’ll get another bracelet and go back to playing the game
