Wait! Chase Money Glitch Actually Works?

Come see me live:

Hi Friends,

This week I wanted to share my thoughts on the Chase Money Glitch that went viral online. Apparently thousands of people participated in what was pretty much a major crime. Chase bank is one of the first major banks to have this happen in mass with people speculating if the same thing could happen to Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and TD Bank.

Fraud no matter through wire or check is a serious offense that carries with it hefty penalties and extensive jail time and even more so when it is carried out against a financial institution.

The trend started on TikTok with discussion of it spilling over to Instagram and Twitter. What's particularly troubling is that this was content, that turned to a trend, that is going to result in jail time for, what seems at least like, a lot of people.

No matter if you are getting a loan, a mortgage, or buying a financial instrument like a stock, bond, or fund, it is always important to do your due diligence and not get caught up in the hype.

There are scam artists and fraudulent institutions all over the place and I don't want to see any of you fall for it.

I also tell the story about an epic battle I witnessed.

Hit me on them internets:

That Chase situation is like saying "I have a free grocery glitch! All you gotta do is be faster than the security!"

“Check fraud is much a felony, ” — advice that Josh never thought he’d have to give the world 🤣

I love that you clarified "you can't take money that isn't yours... When you're poor." 😅😅

"If you want to steal millions of dollars, you need to already have millions of dollars" Josh speaking the truth right there.

Dang, that Chase bailout comparison was a mic dropper there. “They just did it but didn’t make the video “

I absolutely love how he points out that Chase defrauded their customers a while back. Sometimes people forget.

The saddest part about stealing food because you're hungry is when you get to jail they'll feed you.

The thing about Josh is that his approach to stand up is so original. It feels like sitting with a friend who’s just telling you all the best stories. He’s an amazing storyteller! His intelligence adds a nuance to his comedy that is rarely seen. I think it’s great when he sees his own jokes coming and struggles not to laugh at them before getting them out. Everything about his performance is genuine and hilarious! 10/10

Love your story telling style Josh!!! My husband is a criminal defense attorney and we had a young client who stole a lot of stereos from vehicles and got caught with them at his house. He took the cops on a guided tour of the area to show them all the cars he broke in to (mostly ones they didn’t even know about 🤦🏻‍♀️). He came to the office with his grandma because she was going to pay his legal fees, but she didn’t know the whole story. After she read the police report and her grandson said yes he did it. She looked at him and said “you’re an idiot” 😂😂😂 We were shocked she did that. You know you REALLY screwed up when even grandma doesn’t have your back!

he's got a point about grandmas. I have a cousin who did SO MUCH meth wile pregnant and my grandma was like "when I was expecting your father the doctors said cigarettes are good for the baby, now they say the other way, we just don't know, maybe this stuff is good for the baby!" and I was like... granny ily but WHAT?!

I grew up with food insecurity. Stole a pre-made sandwich and a high end 100% juice smoothie (figured I'd get the healthy stuff lol) at my regular grocery store. Got caught and fined for theft. The most expensive meal I never ate.

So if you are planning on stealing food, and they are onto you or start yelling out at you, cram that food in your gob ASAP. I found out later they threw that sandwich out. It was a tuna on rye. I'll never know how good or bad that sandwich may have been. I slept hungry that night and couldn't stop thinking about it as I fell asleep.

Also, if you're that desperate for food, if I see you in your situation... No I didn't. I'm minding my own damn business.

Love how Josh has a way of always tipping a hat to the political/socio-economic injustices and hypocrisy of our world without ever being preachy or making his bits all in your face

Josh always makes me miss my grandma. "I know his spirit, i know my baby, and he would never 'stab someone to death'". 😅
