Today I’m tackling red flags in anti-ageing! When it comes to the topic, there’s a lot to unpack in order to treat the signs effectively.

I dive into what anti-ageing *actually* means (spoiler alert - we’re really addressing signs of chronic sun exposure rather than ageing per se) , which myths you’re falling for (including the fact that ageing isn’t just about wrinkles!) and what’s worth knowing and adding into your routine. The good news? It doesn’t have to be lengthy or painfully expensive.

Let me know what myths you want to bust next!

As always, thank you so much for watching and for all your support!

What is worth adding is - as we age our muscles and bones in the are of the face age as well. So while using scincare is good, they can only do as much.

This was very basic, and needed to be said for those just starting their skin care journey. I would love to hear what you have to say about the debate going on over treatments that may or may not destroy our facial fat. Ultherapy, thermage, morpheus 8, and home units that purport to tighten skin and stimulate collagen.

Such an important video! Thanks Dr. Sam! And the way you tore the "myths" out was so satisfying to both the brain and the ears! 😊

Are UV rays also responsible for the fat pad loss in the face?? Or that is only due to natural aging process??

if aging is not related to genes than why do some celebrities age badly than others. i mean like they take better care of skin than most people. i am a 25 year old and afraid of losing the freshness in my skin as i age😕

00:59 the skin on the inside of the arm is thinner than the dorsal part because of the friction with other surfaces such as the table tops when you sit at a dinning table or at a desk and also the constant friction with our body because the arms are always rubbed against the side of the body and it gets worse if you dont wear soft material cloths they will get a kind of an exfoliation effect. and that also explains why the ventral part of our arms has no hair as opposed to the dorsal, because hair falls with friction. so the friction effect is way stronger than what the sun does to our skin.

Question: I have used niacinamide for a very long time. I started Tretinoin three and a half months ago. Now niacinamide irritates my skin. Why? How long will it be before I can use it again and how do I approach this issue? Thanks for this great video Dr. Sam

1:59 imo you can only skate by on generics alone for a limited amount of years, eventually the bad habits will still catch up😂
