I love how Kris is the only one animated frame-by frame, meanwhile Spamton and everything else is using *Puppet* Animation.

I imagine this is really confusing to the one person watching it who hasn't played Deltarune. Deltarune is like a fever dream out of context but makes perfect sense in context until it decides to show you fever dreams at random intervals just to gradually put you into such a strange mindset that you start to actually understand the fever dreams.

And then I remembered that the inspiration for Deltarune was a dream Toby had when he was sick as a kid so I guess it really is a fever dream.

This song really shows how tragic and desperate Spamton is, while still being such a hyper, fun-loving villain.

I like how this is very much a Spamton song, not a Spamton Neo song. It’s meant to be his first interaction with Kris, and thus is much more upbeat and optimistic, similar to Spamton (the song). Also, Alex has already proven himself to be the superior Spamton voice, so this is just splendid.

I love the animation of Kris in juxtaposition of Spamton. It's so fluid and really captures just how traumatized they are and that they can't leave no matter how bad they want to. That compared to Spamton's glitchiness is just *chef's kiss*

The beauty of the community creations is they each have their own take and give you a chance to evaluate your own stance. I just realised “I’d rather die than be a robot” is a very powerful line. Spamton is disheartened as he realises he is being controlled by invisible strings. However just as valid, try as he might he is forever bound to a higher power by inherent design. He is a robot. He will forever take commands or die trying because the law of what he is forbids him from free will. Deltarune makes you realise that with deprived choice you are not so different to Spamton.
