You lost 100 dollars in the end. 30 in cash and 70 in goods.

The answer is 100 dollars, because it's $30 of change and $70 in items.

The answer is $30. Here is the explanation:

- When the thief stole $100 and came back, he gave you $70 and you gave him back $30.
= You see, when he gave you back the $70, $30 more and you would get your hundred back, but you didn't get $30, you gave it to the thief because he might have given you $100, but the price of the products was $70, so you lost *$30*.

If this is confusing, just say, when the thief came back, the cops took him and you got your $100 back. :3

Criff please stop falling asleep in math class😂. He loses 100. He first stole 100 that's -100. then he came back with the 100 . then he loses 70 and gave him back 30. so its -100+100-70-30=-100. Just take it as if someone else came with $100 to buy the items. He still loses 100, since the guy stole it.

Its 30.
He steals $100, Then comes back paying you $100 for $70 worth of things, And so you give him his change $30.
-100+100-30=30.

There is supposed to be a parentheses in order of opperation so it's parentheses evaluate multiply or divide then add or subtract which ever comes first

You lost $100. That's how much the robber got

apotato

100 - 70 = 30
30 was how much he gave back and that is how much he lost.

You lost 40 dollars, here's what I
The robbers side: 100-70=30+30=60 Leaves you with 40 dollars
Ok so the robber had 100 dollars and bought items later and gave you 70 dollars so that's 30 dollars left, but than you give home 30 dollars back as change and that will leave the robber with 60 dollars, and you with 40 dollars.

200$? Because he stole 100, then bought stuff for 70$ ( you lost 70$ worth of stuff) and you gave him $
