Twin Axle Caravan 2 or 4 Motor Movers?

Seriously though, we're looking at getting our first twin axle. I've worked with twin axle trailers for years & raising the jockey wheel (like you did at the start) right up makes a huge difference to the drag so I was hoping to get away with fitting one set on a 1700kg Bailey

I have a twin axle and had a powertouch evolution twin fitted behind the rear axle, wind the jockey wheel down to take weight off front axle no problem.used it like this for 5 years.

Never had a mover on my twinny Elddis Crusader. It was 1850kg so needed 4 motors, too expensive so just moved it with the Landrover only. One time we were in France we needed six blokes to get it on the pitch as some of the sites in France don’t cater for bigger units even if they say they do. Thanks for sharing your video. Trev.

Looks easy enough with just the single motor movers.. Think that's what I'll go for on my twin...

I’ve got the same set up as u and I help it along by pushing the corners. I said I wouldn’t buy a twin axle without a mover just incase I get stuck in a tight situation but the crooks of it is I hardly use it so the justification of upgrading to a 4 wheel one won’t pay for itself...

You need to press the opposite diagonal turn buttons on the remote at the same time to get it to turn faster.
A twin axle with 1 mover will turn but they will turn better if they sort of wiggle .
Dont know if that makes sense.

H had a twin axel with only 2 movers was ok on flat ground but a nightmare on uneven surfaces

I got 4 fitted on mine works loads better but no wheel carrier underneath now
