I have always used Xiaomi and first time switched to Realme 10 Pro Plus and I love overall experience, the display, the haptics, Call Recording (via Realme Dialer), Free all Themes (via a trick), Ads removed and best part that Keyboard avoida side swipe which is really helpful for me to avoid accidental closing of apps while typing. Also, Screen perfectly off during calls which avoids accidental speaker on.

I found so many day to day use benefits that xiaomi is not making sense for me as on date...

Android 12 is a bummer for redmi note 12 pro /plus, while realme is android 13 that means you will get one year software advantage

I think I'd rather buy a samsung a52s or s20fe even tho they are older because of ip rating, better ultrawide(and telephoto on s20fe) and 4k recording. Plus the one UI with its customisations is growing on me

Like redmi is better than realme but i chose realme because of software as Xiaomi software updates r always degrades performance idk whereas realme does but not like bad and i play games for 2-3hrs and bugs on Xiaomi after updates r bad and screen recording setting is better on realme and i don't use camera much
Currently i m using 10 pro plus works well some casual games(roblox) it gets bit fps drops sometimes on high gfx but it's playable charges fast too like good phone redmi is good too but software updates made me back off

This is indeed a glass back bro. The only difference is in Camera Island which is made of plastic in Note 12 Pro while it is of brushed aluminium in Note 12 Pro+
