Imagine this: it is 2003, 2 Fast 2 Furious just came out, you and your buddies are ripping through the highway in your import beasts. Youre in your supra, you put an hks exhaust system, a k&n intake with some other trd goodies on it. Plus its got a sick bodykit, wings and underglow. Your homeboys are riding in some serious cars too. An Eclipse gtst, a nissan 300zx and an rx7. You guys are the kings of the highway.

Then out of nowhere square lights and a square body are rapidly approaching in your rear view mirror.

Thats weird how is this ugly old car behind you closing in on you while you go 100mph. That thing doesnt even look like it can do 80.

You step on it and your boys follow. The rpm starts going up, the boost starts building, everything gets louder and faster, you're now going 120 but the pesky old car is still closing distance.

You downshift from 6th to 5th gear to teach this guy a lesson

Your rpm reaches 7000, you go into 6th still at wot, your speed now is 165 the average cop car cant even break 130.

But as you look in your rear view, the old car just effortlessly closed the distance and is now almost at your quarter panel, you have reached your max speed, your boys are way behind you. And the car thats passing you? A volvo 242, a brick with a 2.3 liter twin cam 4 cylinder with a head made by cosworth thats been fitted with a turbo bigger than both of yours and shoved in the aleady fast car by a bored teenager. It effortlessly passes you, with its seemingly stock... everything. And disappears into the night like a ghost.

You will spend the rest of your days looking for revenge but you'll never get it. No matter how many races you win, in your head there will always be that memory of the brick on wheels that destroyed you.


Thats not a fantasy thats the reality many people have faced since the turbo brick came to be
