My father is a stay-home-dad, always makes my day better, he never makes me feel the absence of my mom who goes to work everyday. A few days ago in school, we had a painting contest and I had like expensive art items, my friends asked how much is my dad's income that he buys me these things, i said proudly that my mom works and she buys me all of this. They gave a look of disapproval and asked me "why not your dad? Does he not work? Is he jobless? Or did he divorce your mom? I mean I'm just asking.." I went awkward and replied that he does marketing from home (he does actually) and is a stay-home-dad. I felt a little sad by seeing that look on their faces when i said he was a stay-home-dad... I mean, y'all can't respect men if y'all don't respect dads, and y'all can't respect women if y'all don't respect moms, we're all equal in all ways.
