Thanks, you convinced me NOT to get one of these. I don't like the fancy motion of the lights, a steady burn, taillight style would be better. The brake light not working is a deal breaker. I am hesitant about spending $150 for the big name one.
Also, as laws vary from state to state (take this with a grain of salt) but many states have laws regarding flashing lights, and allowable colors for lighting. The red & blue flashing lights could get you in deep stuff in many states.

I almost bought one then realised it won’t be legal in the United Kingdom probably due to the moving light it would have to be solid and just red. I’m disappointed and the break free version is well expensive at £210 on eBay and it’s not even in stock.

Sir, I noticed you mounted it too high thus affecting the gyro inside. I mounted mine much lower coz the idea is to make it as parallel to the ground so the sensors inside can move more sensitively.
