Breeders take infant monkeys from mothers at birth and sell them for thousands to thrilled owners without educating them to realities. Sanctuaries are full, with long waitlists, of these pets whose owners did not realize what they were getting into. Your insurance company will jack rates when they realize you have a monkey. Animal Control will seize and quarantine him if he scratches or bites someome so please do not take him out in public. Lots of monkey owners have had their hearts broken because a delighted child rushed over to pet their monkey and were bitten. Monkeys are adorable as infants but grow into hyperactive, extremely destructive adults. They can demolish a couch or mattress in minutes. I know you love animals and often rescue them, so you are a good person, and I hope you were properly informed of the realities of primate ownership when you bought him.

amazing... worked 2 yrs at the zoo and during all that time, we never used soap/shampooss on the monkeys. What we did do was leave a shower head running for a while and let them clean themselves ( basically playing would be the word) and as far as smelling bad, never had an issue unless one of them got involved in a poo fight, and then we would intervene and wash them ourselves but still, no soaps, just fresh warm water.

Aww he is so adorable, when I'm older I wan be like u Hannah and save animals when I'm old enough I'm gonna volunteer at the RISPCA, when me and my cousin are older we are gonna own a veterinarian office and then give the dogs haircuts and and take pictures of them and put it in a album

No doubt in anyone's mind little Theodore is the cutest little creature. You are so blessed to have such a special life in your hands. Hope you're feeding him more often than every 2 hours. Especially during the day. In the wild their mother pretty much lets them nurse any time they want for the first couple of months. Unless their mother is abusive.
