I still own my C1. I love this TV for any task. gaming on this tv with my PS5 and the Xbox is amazing. There is probably a huge gap between tech people like yourself which I love and respect so much and between regular people that just want to use the tv as normal as possible. I never had an issue with the brightness. I can't find a good reason to replace my lovely C1. Thank you for sharing your great knowledge.

It's basically a G2 with slightly better processing and no heatsink, awesome you do these in HDR now

Proud LG C4 65 inch owner. Dolby vision looks amazing on this TV. Streaming Movies on Netflix, max Apple TV is an immersive experience. I had the c1 before upgrading to the c4 and I definitely notice a huge improvement in picture quality. I also got it for a steal of a price. It’s an amazing TV but if you don’t have the budget for it I’d wait until it’s on a holiday sale like Black Friday or something. You won’t be disappointed trust me

LG C4 is really great if you fine tune settings a bit, brightness is more than enough even in Gaming unless you have a hevaily lit room

I’ve always loved the C series. But like the others have said, I would rather get a discounted G3. MLA is a game changer. Or you could even go for an S90C with a warranty.

I’m definitely getting the LG C4 around Black Friday. I know game mode is dimmer compared to it’s competitors, but as someone who currently games on a Samsung TU700 at 27 brightness in a dark room, I think the LG C4’s game mode brightness will be fine enough for me. Plus I know my 4K Blu Ray films are going to look beautiful on the C4.

Ended up getting the C3 77 inch for $1500 at Coscto as a demo. My first upgrade in 11 years from my Vizio 60 inch. Talk about a game changer!

Just bought a 55" C4 from Walmart for $1069.00, for that price it can't be beat.

Out of all in the YouTube your vidoes look crisp and detailed as every TV review video should be, since we are dealing with display and keep uploading in HDR it looks fantastic❤. Which camera you use for recording?

I agree 100%. But for us TV weirdos....the S90E or G5 is the way to go. The never ending pursuit.

I got this OLED 3 weeks ago go. I was able to unbox and set up the stand by myself. It’s extremely easy. While it’s 65 inches it’s as light as a feather. The guy that posted this is correct when it comes to the sound system that is needed. I have a Bose soundbar, plus side speakers, and subwoofer (500). With those bells and whistles, it doesn’t disappoint.

I bought an older 2018 samsung 55" and have it to this day. Interface is extremely laggy, colors are OK but the panel is pretty dim. No dolby vision, no 120hz, nothing. I think I may upgrade to this sometime this holiday when cyber monday or black friday come around.

New LG G4 owner here coming from an LG C3 (that I sold) and there is ZERO image retention on the G4. The C3 has a good bit of it, when sitting on the Apple TV homescreen too long then going into Amazon Prime or the Xbox dashboard. I wonder why the C4 has image retention while the G4 seems to be literally immune to it, since they're both Evo panels just one has the MLA layer. Great review man and I agree, the C2-C4 have been way too similar to where it feels LG is just sitting on their laurels.

I've had the c3 for a year and here are my thoughts:
As far as the picture is concerned, like vibrancy, contrast, color, accuracy, it's amazing.
Motion: for movies it's mostly average to bad (stuttery) depending on content. Doesn't matter what motion settings you input.
Gaming: vrr is complete trash. The flickering makes it unusable. If you're buying a TV just for its vrr capabilities, Skip LG. Everything else like input delay is fine. Pretty much the rest of the stuff in game optimizer mode is fine, basically not a big deal, almost gimmicky.
Inputs: plenty of inputs, all of them 4K high refresh rate. This is just fine.
Other things: My TV as well as many others I've seen people post about have bad dirty screen effect. This basically makes any scene that's darker but not completely black have very poor picture quality as the screen artifacts will show in the content. I'd say this is a deal-breaker, and until LG can improve their quality control, I'd skip LG oleds.

LG CX & LG C1 owner here. Haven't been missing much with my beloved new 77 inch QD-OLED. However not a huge fan of Tizen, I heard it through the grapevine that LG going to drop WEB OS and start implementing Google TV for their new OS? Anyone else heard of anything else like that?

I just picked up the 65" LG C4 yesterday. It replaces an old Sony. It is really amazing.
