Close. At very high altitudes such as those cited, the air is less dense. There are fewer molecules to push through and it is this resistance that results in friction creating the heat. The other consequence is that at high altitudes the atmosphere provides much less resistance when trying to manoeuvre. When the SR71 flew to the UK, and turned in for its approach, it was actually over Paris before it finished the turn. That altitude belongs to Blackbird, Foxbat and Foxhound. Everyone squeals that they can’t dog-fight. Well in that domain it’s not physically possible. The only way to manoeuvre would be to go vertical and roll. Blackbird just pushes the throttles forward and gets out of Dodge.

We can use hypersonic flights to go to mars after some modifications. Considerations should be made into that.

They have also developed better materials since the time the SR-71 was created.

Also hypersonic missiles use some special cooling coating or tiles

They don't have to maneuver as much as an aircraft resulting in less drag

I think it cooler because no air as friction...

There are multiple faster aircraft, one being manned and the other being unmanned

As well, they don’t have to RTB and fly again.

Blackbird is not the worlds fastest plane. Its the worlds fastest AIR BREATHING JET. Thats an enourmus distinction.
