Hi Tracie. It sounds like you have a walking foot and if you drop the feed dogs you can more the item you are working on very freely. Thank you for sharing all of your talents and tips with us. WE LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! All lengths! I actually love this series of videos. It is really nice to see how you complete the entire process. Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Don't worry about the length. Love the spine embellishment! And I love the matting you did for the images on the cover, and Of course, I love the darling images. I really love the trim along the inside pockets. Most of all I can't wait for the next part of the series and especially the video tutorial for sewing a curve. My mama taught me to sew when I was 14, but since I didn't want to learn, I tossed the knowledge. I --can sew straight lines-- try to sew straight lines. That's all. I did teach myself about the different stitches (not the feet) by adjusting the settings on my machine, although I don't know which setting causes what effect. Again, thank you so much!!

Loving this series! Thank you for taking the time to let us create with you! ❤️ The ruler you were talking about is a deckel edge ruler. Westcott makes one called a grip and rip with two different edges. Amazon has it for about 8 US dollars. Have a great weekend!!
