I'm in Florida on unemployment (I'm an independent contractor for the state court system, haven't had any real work since February) and can confirm there is no 400, 300, or even 200-dollar benefit being given out. I'm about to go completely broke because Congress doesn't care about people, only corporations and getting their own way.

I'm currently house shopping, so I've been researching it a decent amount. It's very difficult to find something affordable in my area because the wealthy are buying up a lot of the properties to either rent or flip. Houses that were $85, 000 six-eight years ago are now $145, 000+.
