When Mclaren gifted Lando Norris' win to Oscar Piastri in F1

As a fan of McLaren and both drivers, this was absolutely sickening to watch. I am getting so frustrated by their inability to handle running at the front.

You can say that the team gave the win to Piastri by telling Norris to let him through, but if they didn’t do that, it would be true that the team gave the win to Norris by giving him the undercuts on Piastri.

They should never have pitted Norris first, they should never have put themselves in this situation, they should never have put Norris in this situation. They should have simply pitted the lead driver first, and let Norris catch him up on track if possible.

Team messed up. And yet guilted Lando into giving up the place. Both lando and Piastro seemed like they wanted to express some shit, but they were in super media mode after the race. Piastri wasn’t happy, Lando wasn’t happy

Piastri got ahead comfortably in the first stint. The team gave lando the undercut, which closed him up. Piastri was still comfortably leading. Then they gave lando another undercut. Piastri deserved the win

Oscar drove great in the 1st stint. And yes he was disadvantaged by Mclaren pitting Lando first. But Lando drove like a beast in that final stint. He was gapping Piastri.

McLaren did Norris dirty. Piastri isn't the one chasing Max for a world title Norris is. If Norris comes in second at the end by less than 7 points this race is the reason. Guess McLaren doesn't care about drivers championship.

this is so far from the truth?? neither of the drivers are at fault. these kinds videos are j gonna create unnecessary hate for both the drivers and crest rifts between their respective fan bases.
mclaren is the one who fucked up their strategy. they are the ones who pitted lando first knowing full well
1. lewis wasn't a threat
2. oscar had been leading the race for a good number of laps
lando acted professionally and gave oscar his much deserved win. and NO, oscar was NOT handed the win he would've won the race had mclaren prioritised him in the pit lane. it is so sad that mclaren put both the drivers in such a horrible position. lando’s radios were infuriating to listen to. the team gaslit and manipulated him, making him the villain in a situation that was 100% a strategic mistake from the team. it isn’t a happy win for oscar either, it’s clear from his radio that he is upset about how it happened. he felt the need to apologise for winning and it is so incredibly sad.
it’s also so frustrating to see such one sided biased videos, clearly villainising a singular driver when the only people at fault here are the team. lando and oscar both suffered at the hands of mclaren.
it is very evident from their post race interviews that neither of them were happy with how the race turned out.
the team only seems to care about the constructors championship and seem to completely gloss over the fact that lando is literally in the run for the wdc.

this 1-2 was indeed a very sad one but neither of the drivers are at fault and these kind of videos are just misleading, know the full story first and then think about commenting about it.

mclaren is the only one at fault here and i hope both lando and oscar know that and don't blame themselves and/or each other.

They did very well to let Oscar have this one. I don't know what their issue is with Oscar, but they keep fucking him over. First they didn't give him the upgrades in Miami, resulting in a massive difference between the two cars, then they messed up his race in Silverstone with bad strategy, and now they almost stole his win due to bad strategy again! What a mess
