Weirdly enough I always though the opposite. Luke was more like his mother Padme in behavior, still being able to love his father even after knowing all the horrible things Vader did. Leia was much more like Anakin, a tough leader of the alliance who was stubborn and outgoing enough to plan a daring sabotage mission against the Death Star. Even when she was taken to Vader, the most feared man in the galaxy, she didn't back down and kept her cool, acting pretty similar to how Anakin did in dangerous situations. Also she had much more anger towards her father and could never forgive him completely.

I wonder if Yoda and Obi-Wan regretted from the Otherlife for not revealing from the beginning to Luke and Leia that they were twins. Aside from the iconic kiss on Hoth, both Skywalkers were shipped AF by the authors in the classic Marvel comics, not to mention that in the novel "Splinter of the Mind's Eye", there's a considerable s*xual tension between the two caused by their tight and constantly wet suits. The worst trolling Anakin ever got 😅

The moment you realize that the wisest being in the galaxy was wrong and that the son of a monster was right. Luke may not be the best Jedi but he did what no other Jedi, not even Yoda and Obi Wan, could do. Redeem Vader.

The pain in his heart is why Anakin fell, and the empathy in Luke's heart is why he could reach Vader.

Why was it an either/or issue? Couldn't he and Obi-Wan have trained them both? Although Leia probably would have been able to start training sooner, since her parents were pro-Rebellion, whereas Owen didn't want Obi-Wan anywhere near Luke and he had to wait (suspiciously) for the Empire to kill Owen and Beru.
