So I understand that I shouldn’t take antioxidant vitamins or capsules cuz I’m in treatment but does that mean I shouldn’t take foods high in antioxidants too? That wasn’t very clear. Let me know please I don’t want anything interfering with my tx

All your videos are great. I am now 7 weeks post op going for radiotherapy in a month. I feel tired and not focused at all. I need to take B complex supplements. Is it safe at least during this month before radiotherapy treatment? In general I take vit D3+k2, Mg glycinate and Omega3 (the later from time to time).
Another q: what about natural turmeric? Moringa powder? Chlorophyll supplement? Please advise
Thank you so much

Thank you for explaining the difference between whole foods and supplements. I had been concerned about eating antioxidant foods that might interfere with my treatment. 🌺

I found it a bit confusing when you referred to supplements as including food. I was told that eating whatever food was fine during radiation but not to take the extra supplementation through pills etc. I am now feeling rather nervous because I eat blueberries and strawberries every day for breakfast and I know they are high In antioxidents. I did not supplement with any pills or such. Did I endanger myself by eating an otherwise healthy diet?

I suffer with debilitating migraines and have just recently been diagnosed with cancer. Still waiting for the result of the biopsy to determine what kind. Anyhow, the only thing that's helped my migraines has been Coenzyme Q10 at 400 mg daily dose. What do I do when it's time to start treatment?

Does the same go for Immunotherapy? I’d really appreciate an answer!
The Immunotherapy I’m talking about is Daratumubab for multiple myeloma and it is an ongoing therapy — so unless something changes one is on it for the rest of lifetime. Does a person need to give up antioxidant-Rich foods forever??

Thank you for these informative videos; they have helped me a great deal throughout my cancer ordeal. This might be a dumb question, but do topical antioxidants pose any risks for recurrence? I hade stage 1 cancer and had a lumpectomy and radiation. I try to eat well, and don't take any antioxidant supplements, however, I do use a topical CoQ10 serum on my face, décolletage and arms (though not on my breasts). It's a small amount, and I don't use it religiously, but do topicals pose any threat? I've also been considering using a vitamin C serum. Thanks again.

What about alpha lipoid acid? It helped with neuropathy and some studies said it helps cancer cells stop replicating but it’s an antioxidant

Last year I was diagnosed with pernicious anaemia due to testing positive for intrinsic factor antibodies. I am on regular b12 injections. I’ve just been diagnosed T2 at the moment but haven’t even seen surgeon or oncologist yet 4cm IDC right breast. I am concerned about continuing the b12 injections particularly during treatment because of the study you refer to and the mortality rates of those supplementing with b12. I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place I need b12 to live and more than the current guidelines suggest to thrive but if the balance is wrong my chances of survival are much lower than average. Do you have any thoughts my situation?

Are these supplements need to be discontinued only during chemo and radiation or is it lifelong? Can it be taken during hormone therapy like anastrozole ?

Everything cycles, antioxidants work on a cycle. You need oxidation cycling In order for antioxidants to work. One gets better nutritional uptake from foods, in context of fasting.
