I don't particularly like Dream or George but it's insane how much people hate them, to the point that they wish death on them. I thought toxic behavior was supposed to be discouraged?? Either way, no one should have their entire LIFE ended just from a single baseless accusation. Believing someone when they have provided no evidence whatsoever is so fucking backwards

Both were drunk, and with what George said, they were both touching each other, meaning in that case Caiti would’ve also unconsensually touched George for those using the ‘she was drunk’ stuff. Cause he was too. caiti first off lied about her age and wore an over 21 wristband and drunk, and kept going back to George, George was doing some odd things yes, but so did caiti, I think it’s a big whole massive misunderstanding on both sides, I’m in the middle with my opinion, I think both are in the wrong from everything I’ve heard.

If what George did was true, then I do not agree with his actions, but people make mistakes. If Caiti was hurt by George, I hope she gets better. But the situation has gotten out of control especially over on twitter, people wishing George k—s himself, sharing addresses publicly, and jumping to conclusions? Not okay.

I think we need to remember dream’s character. He stopped being friends with his CHILDHOOD BEST FRIEND! because he MIGHT be an abuser. Dream for all the flack he gets takes harassment seriously! he wouldn’t cover for George. That’s not the person he is.

As someone who disliked willbur from the get go. As well as so so SO many other terrible YouTubers i have this sort of “sixth sense” when it comes to someone’s character who ISNT in my life… and while George isn’t one i have watched I like dream and honestly i have always had faith in his character. People who are saying his words are harmful don’t understand what it means to be accused in this day in age. For us in our 20s we have been taught about “non verbal consent” now what George did was not ok simply because the girl could not give consent as she was drunk but we need to remember so was George and from his perspective she has the wristband saying she is 21+ and ALL the narrators we will have will have been drunk.
Weather she consented or not she didn’t consent because she was drunk but so was he. They didn’t do anything “illegal” so it’s not needs “legal consent” but the touching still was toeing the line. Either way the ENTIRE situation is a mess of problems that will probably get quite a few of them in BIG trouble. Just for it having happened

im a victim of abuse, not sexual, but ive been being abused physically and mentally by my ex partner and what i think is that we should always be sceptical when it comes to that serious allegations which happen more and more especially to influencers, even my ex, who abused me convinced all their friends that i’m the one who ruined their life by cherry picking texts i sent while hallucinating, where i could barely build a normal sentence. This situation taught me that its very important to stay objective, always trust the victim but only once theyre proven to be such. World is a cruel place where you never can truly trust anyone unless the situation is clear.
