Downtown Ladyburg is COMPLETE!! LEGO City Tour 2022

After setting absolutely every. single. other. thing in the LEGO City to the side for the last few months, Downtown Ladyburg is FINISHED!

We started our LEGO City (or rather re-started) in summer 2021 and after many months of work, the downtown area is looking polished and I'm thrilled with the result. We've added many new modulars and even duplicates of modulars, and it was so worth it!

I think the placement of the Boutique Hotel and Assembly Square is great. For that blank wall, I would build a hanging bill board with a blank surface and put an artsy sticker or advertisement there. An art school has been working with privately-owned buildings to place large art pieces on blank exterior walls for years in the southern end of downtown Chicago. It’s a cool initiative to beautify the city. Just build a blank hanging canvass and place a sticker, or go to Eclipse Graphics and buy a LEGO graffiti wall and integrate into that wall.

I liked the Ninjago City part, reminds me of how actual cities have Chinatowns, this can be your Ninjagotown! You might already be doing this, but that Ninjagotown area could be a hub for other East Asian sets like any Lunar New Year or the Monkie Kid town set if you ever get them.

I’d add a wall vine feature to the side of the wall next to the boutique hotel. Little flowers etc. make use of that little patio. Turn it into a small garden 😁

Parisian restaurant fits best next to boutique hotel. The chimney from PR is visible then, even the open air terras in the back. No big ugly walls visible.
