Ethnic Chinese around the world are celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, when the moon is believed to be at its fullest and brightest.

The festival originated more than 1,000 years ago, as a holiday to worship the moon. Now Chinese people celebrate it with lanterns, family gatherings and – most importantly – mooncakes. The Inkstone team sat down to debate what makes a good mooncake.
