A Pap Smear/Test is a test for detecting changes in cervix cells that could result in cancer (cervical cancer screening). The cervix is the uterus's bottom portion (womb). The medical professional inserts a speculum into the vagina during the pap test and uses a brush or tiny spatula to collect cells from the cervix.
