Mark McClinchie is a real estate agent in Pittsburgh PA with Compass RE. I am a retired public school teacher and principal, and have first-hand experience and inside knowledge of area school districts and programs. I grew up in the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh (graduated from North Allegheny), and now live in Mt Lebanon with my amazing wife and four children (one in college and three in Mt. Lebanon schools). I love travelling (especially to Disney), great food/drink (coffee snob), and love playing/watching sports (PNC Park is the BEST).

This was a fun one to make. All the "classic Pittsburgh" moves . . . Pittsburgh Left, the Pittsburgh Parking Chair, Kennywood's Open, and more. What did I miss?

My mother was from Pittsburgh. My grandparents are from Pittsburgh. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. Everything you’re saying is correct, sir.

I moved away a couple years ago to be near family. I moved just south of Birmingham Alabama. People recognize my Pittsburgh accent right away. I’m proud of my Pittsburgh accent. We do have two thing in common with Alabama. The word “buggy” for shopping cart. And the word “hoagie”

Do not accidentally call Pittsburgh Philly. I live outside of PA and accidentally did that on Zoom call. 😬😀

Fun Fact: Pittsburgh and Chicago share the term "jagoff". (Or at least Chicago is the only other city where I have heard it used in the same way.)
