I love your shorts but one correction... lines of longitude are not "parallels", just latitude lines. Longitude lines intersect at the poles so they aren't parallel.

The map of the California island actually looks eerily similar to another island on the west coast: Graham Island and Moresby Island in Canada.

My tinfoil hat conspiracy theory is that they somehow went much farther north than they thought. You can even see the geography in the drawn map is eerily similar to the jagged coastline of upper British Columbia next to the Alaskan border 😮
