How Much YouTube Pays Me To Play With BEARS $ / RIP New Boat (Ep16)

Boat Issues: Namely the sinking of my new boat. It's a rapid moving river and if you get swept broadside into log sweepers the river will swallow your only means of access in mere seconds. Recovery is possible, but the boat is nowhere to bee seen or found as of yet.
Lots of random building and travels about the region and beyond. Once again, I'm flying by the seat of my pants for this one. The mountains and valleys and ups and downs never end out here.
I decided to choose transparency and show my YouTube earnings.

A lot of us aren't here because you're seeing bear or a moose. We love to watch the progress and your dedication to make a home in the wilderness by yourself by your own means.

I've personally been watching since your first video was released and early on was worried you'd give up on youtube because your channel wasn't taking off and you felt like filming and editing (which honestly could improve... the owl noise and night sky breaks are a relic 😅) wasn't worth the effort. I'm very glad that never happened and your channel is earning you an income you can get by on.

Don't feel embarrassed or anything because you're fortunate enough to make decent money from youtube. Honestly I think you're the first and only channel I've ever seen disclose how much money they're making from YouTube.

What happens in a river current to a boat being sunk in a manner like yours was is.... if the boat has an anchor that's tied to the boat when the boat flips under water the anchor falls out and grabs the bottom. The boat is held down by the current and usually the boat will spin on the end of the anchor rope until the rope frays and breaks. After the anchor rope breaks the floatation in the boat will surface it, and the outfit will go downstream, half submerged with just parts of the boat showing.
My son and I saved a man and his outfit on the Mississippi River years ago. He made a mistake in the current and he ended up losing his outfit and almost his life.
After retrieving him and his cooler from the river we could watch his boat spinning on his anchor rope using our depth finder locator. He was very lucky, we saved his outfit, once it surfaced and his life that day.

Greeting's from Alaska! When ever you run anything across or on water you leave a floatbag colored orange attached to the gunnel or bow or stern with double the amount of rope for the depth of water your running in. Snowmachiners do it year round even when they are running rivers in the summer in case they sink their sleds. Hard lesson to learn and costly as well. You will persevere your mindset is good with strong will, take care!
