Opening Sander and assessing damage before restoration. (April 2019)

Exploring the insides of a sander that has seen better days. Follow me restore and repair this old sander. In this video I asses the sander and then open it to explore the inside.

Process:
Check external cables
Checking working conditions
Ensure no power supply
Open inside
Start cleaning process

Really interested looking motor. you would run it on the bench I think it would look really cool. I enjoyed this one it's right up my alley lol

I find soaking stuff in hot water with washing powder (the stuff you put in your clothes washing machine ) is a really good degreaser / cleaner, Also old toothbrushes are very useful for cleaning stuff, I'm looking forward to seeing how this one turns out 👍
